My adjustable bed frame is very temperamental. For example, sometimes it only feels like raising one side of the bed, resulting in a very awkward angle for watching TV. Mattress Genie has a 2-stage turbine design with an automatic shut off button, to prevent overuse, like when kids are playing with it!.  Once you plug the motor in, you only have to press the button on your control and your bed will rise up to a 40 degree angle in about a minute.

The lift chamber is made of a thick, durable polymer with double welded seams and internal baffling to provide strength. The king size Mattress Genie is said to raise as much as 1000 pounds.
